I'm certain they will fix this before I can even dig my Wii out of the attic. Great find nonetheless.

I hope these trade values stay tomorrow. I picked up a bunch of these for 1 dollar each at a thrift store.

Awesome deal! Raced to my usual Gamestop right before closing and dude completely wouldn't honor website and only offered me $5.50 per unit and insisted that that was the trade-in value shown in "his system" Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) So then went 6 miles to my next Gamestop and it magically showed up in their system for the promo value Confused Walked out with $154 in store credit! woot

If Gamestop is willing to pay this much, they know something. Wouldn't be surprised if they found out Nintendo is planning to launch a Wii app on the Switch 2 for Nintendo Online + Expansion Pass, and it will be reverse-compatible with existing Wiimotes via a new USB-C sensor bar accessory that plugs into the top port.

Edit: This year is Wii's 20th anniversary. They're definitely expecting a Wii app. and they'll probably resell these for $100+ for anyone with first gen wiimotes.

I'm sure they are genius based on their business history. They are so smart they are paying you $70 and will sell it right back to you for $19. Rinse, repeat. Genius!

There's a reason they've had to shut down 500 stores this year. They ain't big on smarts.

Maybe this is their secret "super quick shutdown" plan for the rest of them. Wink

Or GS is just a poorly run company that has had exploits for many years now.
