Are you comparing it to the 4-pack deals on Amazon? Some people prefer to buy from Amazon. Of course, AliExpress or eBay can be cheaper, especially for larger bundles.
If you look at the other 4-pack filament deals posted in the last few days for around $40, you'll find quite a few in this price range, and the Jayo spools contain 10% more filament:

Only the SUNLU-branded ones are their flagship filaments. Bambu's filaments are all made by SUNLU.

JAYO is a normal / second grade brand from SUNLU - not their top tier brand. No wonder they give 10% more in their rolls.

I bought 5 roll of marble PLA less than 50 bucks from Ali, came within a week.I see no reason why Amazon is any better.I have bought 3dhojor and e-sun as low as 4.5 bucks per kg.

Not a slickdeal for PLA. Should be around $8, not $10 for a good deal.

It's the exact same filament. Most brands do this. They sell the same filament under different brands at different prices to reach more market segments. Recently saw a tour of their factory on YouTube, where they alternate between the spool brands during shifts. Sunlu comes on reuseable spools. That's the only difference.

Did the yt video talk about quality control? Just asking because while it is common for brands to have another name on a product it is also common to be lesser quality or at least more lax quality control. No idea if that is the case with Jayo, but I've seen others report that it is. So I'm curious about the video

Same thing as PLA. "Plus" is just marketing.

"...filament is 10 times stronger."

1) Really? 10 times stronger. Sure. You really think this is true on any level?
2) What does "stronger" mean in this case?
3) Where are the tests that support this claim

Might as well just say it is 50 times "better" then PLA.

Watch Youtube real tests on plus versions of PLA. There are thousands of them.

I've only purchased jayo once and don't think I will again. Tried many different brands and haven't had an issue that wasn't user error. But I bought some jayo petg 4 pack off Amazon and on the third roll the last half of it was about 1.2mm in diameter. I thought my ender needed a new extruder kit until I put the same roll into my k1 max and had the same extrusion issue. Took a look at it and sure enough it was FAR from the diamter it should have been. And it wasn't a small section, it was the remaining half of the roll. If I look at it 3 out of 4 rolls were "good" but I haven't ever had that issue with any filament and I've used cheap ass kingroon. There are enough cheap brands for me to just cut out jayo over this one thing and I'm okay with that.

Saw the same video and it was really interesting. Funny how they had to blur out a lot of the machines in action because they were printing the labels for the different vendors all in the same factory on the same machines. This was eye opening for me. The majority of the filaments are made by the same place, just packed with different labels on them.

This is not remotely close to true. The exact PLA+ formula is different for every brand, but they're all PLA modified with flexible plastics, elastomers (impact modifiers), and plasticizers (makes it less brittle). PLA is stiff and strong, but incredibly brittle and poor impact resistance. The additives in PLA+ sacrifice some of that stiffness for better impact resistance and flexibility. There's a reason PLA+ has been the standard for 3D printed firearms for years, while making one out of PLA is a basically a deathwish.

bought a few Jayo spools from an eBay deal a while back... i hear people say it a Sunlu product a lot, i'm unsure of the difference, but it is easily the worst PLA i've used.

even at the 8$/spool i got it for, it's not worth my time to waste on subpar filament... i just want to buy, unwrap, print.

Glad somebody else didn't get sucked into the marketing. You can even look at Jayo's own product parameter sheets to see just how similar their PLA and PLA+ are. Nothing close to a 10x difference in any test.

The couple of feedbacks I've seen here are enough to pass. I bought a bunch of Crealty Soylein from an ebay deal and it has been the worst filament I've ever used. I still have a ton of it and have a really hard time getting a print out of it that is worth a shit.
