Honestly a pretty slick deal even if you don't like the watch looks (which honestly looks decent as a Submariner homage). I paid $80 for an NH36 Movement to fix my Seiko Turtle, in hindsight I should have just bought something like this and swapped the movements. If you want to get into "Seiko" modding this is a great start as well, you can get a dial, hands, and basic tools off of AliExpress and have a custom watch for around $100 all in.

Is it the watch itself? I see they want to add a $15 protection plan + $5 shipping insurance, but you can remove those

Is it worth getting the Quartz version for extra? https://invictastores.com/invicta...ption=9355 Have a skeleton automatic watch and over the past 5 years it has grown to not tell the time reliably (varying +/- 1 hour a day) and moved to an A168 Casio because of it.

This has a Seiko movement in it. I highly doubt it will get to a point where it's off by an hour a day. Maybe minutes every year. I may be biased, but the automatic in the post is the better deal. The automatic movement by itself goes for about $60. The quartz movement is probably worth $10-$15.

The quartz one goes for cheaper like 30ish not infrequently

I just wish they didn't engrave invicta in the side of the case. Would be a great starting point otherwise

Not bad. I recently bought a Pagani Design rolex submariner style watch for about $80 on ali express. The main reason I went with Pagani over Invictus is Pagani has a sapphire glass cover if that matters to you.

If you want quartz, this Invicta is $39 after the 15% off coupon: https://www.ashford.com/products/...a-in-47172
Just be aware it's a bit bigger at 43mm, vs 40mm for the OP.

Website suggest this has a Miyota 8215 movement.

You're right. My bad. I had posted another $50 Invicta a couple days before this one that was nh35a. I must have gotten them confused with each other.https://slickdeals.net/f/19134619
