About this item:
  • KESPEN sun blocking window film can effectively block 82% of infrared rays and 90% of UV rays which may hurt your skin, prevent your precious furniture and interior decorations from fading.
  • The window tinting film for home reflects some of the heat back outside, thus reducing the amount of heat transmitted through window glass, which can keep cool in summer and retain heat in winter, helping you save money by cutting the high energy bills.
  • This one way window film provides superb privacy during daytime, the mirror reflection of privacy control window film allows others to not see any interiors from the outside, effectively protecting your private space. But when inside light is stronger than outside, loss of light difference, such as the lights turning on, the mirror effect will disappear and will be seen from the outside. So at night with this mirror tint, it is necessary to draw the curtains.

Since I did not know this note this is only for single pain windows as if you put it on the inside of a double pane it will cause the gas Gap to overheat and fail, if you're double paying Windows no longer have the gas Gap safe to use on the inside otherwise put this on the outside of your windows perhaps with a screen in front of it to make sure it doesn't fall off in the middle of summer that way you won't lose any insulation.

It does in the daytime, doesn't at night. This is typically how window tint works.

Is it easy to put on a car window? I don't need it to be perfect as long as it lasts for more than a year, has no bubbles and can be taken off easily.

Are you more of a foil person for privacy? I've heard it can be used for windows and hats!

Most people want more privacy at night when this doesn't work.

If you care more about your privacy than looking out your window, frosted glass privacy films are much better. Examples:

You won't get privacy at night UNLESS you have a light on outside. The light will reflect off the windows where it will be very difficult for anyone to see inside but you must have a light on. If your outside light is off and you have lights on inside your home, you can clearly see inside the home. Remember window tints like this reflect light.

If you want privacy at night, use curtains or blinds. It's not that difficult. This film allows you to leave the blinds/curtains open during the daytime while providing privacy when it's light out.

I think these can break the window if a hot sun reflects on them too long.
