Yea I got tricked into buying this when they claimed its 50% off and jacked up the price to double. They also refund you some money if you leave them a positive review so I am sure lot of these reviews are fake.

Why comment on the reviews when you own it for yourself? Does it work?

But is it any good in real world use? The specs are pretty good for an all in one solution.

70W seems like an odd number. I've usually seen 65W and then 90W, so this is raising some questions

So 10% off from a shady third party seller is now an SD?

Seems like a pretty good deal, Acer branding as well. If it can do >45w from a single port (they are claiming 70w), works for most laptops and phones.

I bought this 2 weeks ago for $20 and haven't used it yet since I bought it for travel. It's kind of heavy and I hope it doesn't fall out of the socket overseas. It's funny how a lot of people are commenting about the fake reviews, because you guys must really hate Anker too then since that's how they were like before they got big and known.

Why would you want something heavy for travel, when it doesn't have to be?
The falling out of the outlet was exactly my thinking! PASS!

Well I have another one like this too but it's not 70w and I need an adapter to use US plugs overseas. If it does what it says then im fine with it. It's heavy but not that heavy and it's compact enough that it doesnt take up much space in my backpack or luggage.

5% off an Acer mouse is an SD to the staff when they're getting kickbacks. 10% off an Acer product is doubly slick!

380 lifetime reviews for the seller. Amazon claims all 4 and 5 star reviews, but it's because all of the 1 star reviews are removed - and there are a lot of them.

Impressive that this is FP'd even for SD.

Never understand why people buy universal adapters. They are so bulky! Just get some single-type adapters and look up what socket you need before travel

I ordered a couple of EU power cord (2 slot printer power cord) cables that I can plug into the USB charging hubs I already own. Easier to position around a hotel room depending on outlet location.

Worked very well in the EU last year.

The point of a "universal" adapter is to have one that does it all, so you don't need to buy 3 different adapters whenever you visit a different part of the world. Keep this one adapter in your luggage and you'll never have to think about what to bring no matter where you go.
