As someone who works on vehicles in the Rust Belt of MN, this is a game changer and time saver. Pair this with a 20v Dewalt 1/2" impact driver, and it'll make quick work of rust welded suspension nuts and bolts. If you have a couple days to spare before working on something, soak the nuts and bolts with some Mystery Oil.
It can also be used to heat metal for bending. I'm sure you could use it on plastic, but man it gets hot fast.

Always wanted one, and I would have got this 30yrs ago, but my wrenching days are over.
Give one to the tool lover in your life. Much safer than a torch and requires no tank refills.
1300w seems a bit low on the power side, but I cant say for sure. Any one have another brand and is the power use the same on yours?

You can also see than it only takes 300-600w to bring steel to cherry red, it all depends on how much of a 'heat sink' the surrounding area is too.
This would not work on plastic, only ferrous or magnetic materials.
Still a great tool to have if you work on rusty equipment.

I do wonder if there is really a difference between a 1100 watt version and a 1300 watt version. Or is it just "BS marketing".
