This drive will be fine for 95% of people out there. Really good performance and I wouldn't worry about the TBW rating unless you're writing tons of data to it constantly. I'm thinking of picking this up as a backup in case one of my other game drives fail.

Wait...it's $192, but was $94 on the 20th?
How is this a deal, never mind a slickdeal?
What has happened to SSD prices? AI datacenter bastards!

Not suggesting anyone purchase at this price unless they need something now, but I would suggest going to r/buildapcsales on reddit, searching SSD and sorting by new posts if you want to get a feel for the current market, most 2TB drives cheaper than this are selling out within minutes of being posted there, and many that are cheap enough to really be considered good deals are restock errors that end up cancelled by the seller.

Thanks for the advise. There's a reddit group for everything I guess - lol!

I wouldn't say this is bad. I have a 4tb version of this working out of an enclosure running a bunch of heavily modded games without an issue. Nolvus v6 Skyrim, Starfield, baldurs gate, etc.

I just scored a 2TB Western Digital SN850 for $199.99 plus tax from Amazon. I saw it and placed the order immediately. By the time I was done, Amazon was already out of stock. The item was literally open for only about 1 minute.
