I mean, seems like an amazing deal? I want it but have noooo need for it. Needs two DP to run at full res with 60hz, otherwise with one, only runs max of 30hz

I might have considered it even though my preference is for 4k/120Hz+ but after reading a bunch of reviews I won't bother with it either, what a terrible panel and QC

I love the concept of more resolution but I'll pass. Thank you for the find though.

8k for $200 and you are still discussing it?

It's a absolute steal. That's it.

Reddit review(s) of it are pretty bad when you factor in a 90 day warranty.
Mainly though, I have a 4K 240hz primary monitor and two 4K 60hz monitors so I'm not sure I could realistically replace the 4K 60'z with two of these.

Fantastic value for the proper usage case. I feel like most folks buying computer parts and accessories around here are gaming centric. This has a 60hz refresh and 6ms response. There are better specced monitors for that in a similar price range.

Now, if you're editing pictures, videos, need the workspace on your desktop, etc. this could be a phenomenal tool at an incredible price.

So tempting. I wish the reviews weren't so bad. Seems like it has some serious design flaws—maybe overheating?

in some forums, it can, but only support 8K@30Hz with 1 DP
not sure if you use with 2 TB4 -> 2 DP for 8K@60Hz

If it could be relied to last more than 90 days without failing in one of the many reported modes of failure, then it would be fantastic value for anyone that could make use of the high PPI occasionally. For daily use (productivity) I'd still prefer a faster refresh rate to a higher resolution, smoothness is in and I can't go back.
