Not sure flex head sucks or not, but often the best way to loosen something in tight places (underneath the hood) without having to resort to impact drivers and such. For me at least.
Maybe Gearwrench is 3x better.

If there is one hand tool you are certainly going to break, it's a ratcheting style wrench. You crank on them hard, they break. You drop them, they explode with little pieces everywhere in the shop.
You can warranty the Gearwrench at any local HD, Ace Hardware, Tractor Supply, NAPA or through Gearwrench itself (Gearwrench is a 30+ year old company) . You can bring in your 3 decade old wrench, and get it exchanged with their 'no hassle guarantee'.
Once the 30 day Amazon return window is closed, it might be difficult to ever get a reply from those online-only brands. Who knows if they will even be in business a few months from now?
Flex-heads are always my last choice (but sometimes they are the only choice).
You don't usually want to 'break' a bolt free with the ratcheting end, because it's the weak end. You generally break the bolt free with the box end, then flip the wrench and quickly ratchet it free.
The Gearwrench are Extra Long, giving you tons of leverage compared to a regular sized wrench.
If you are only using a wrench monthly, then a online-only brand is probably all you need. If you use them daily, and especially if it's a tool notorious for failing, you might want a pro-sumer or better tool.
Different products for different users.
