Because it's a terrible game. Without a light gun buying a game like this is pointless. Better off buying it for Wii and actually having an actual gun game

Is it ideal? No. However I played the first one and with a little tweaking of the gyro controls still found it to be fun regardless, so I would have to disagree somewhat. That said, I see no reason why someone couldn't have made a sensor bar and light gun accessory for the Switch that you mount and then connect to the dock via USB.

I appreciate your viewpoint. Reality is most people have a backlog of great games to play and this one, aside from being on sale, doesn't need to be part of most people's consideration set. The Wii version is more fun and can be had off eBay for same price.

We used to play Virtua Cop 2 on the Sega Saturn with no gun. People who buy this who remembered what the arcade was like will be fine. I have the 1st one for the PS5 and no complaints.
