How does this compare to the Logitech G920? Similar quality beginner class?

I don't know much about racing games or wheels but a couple of my kids are super interested in the upcoming Forza 6 and Reddit's forums all recommend the Logitech G920/G923 as the best entry-level wheel & pedal set to get.

TL;DR: Not comparable I would say. If you can afford the Logitechs (and your kids can handle them) you should get them. I'd even look for used ones if you can't afford it new. It's essentially the difference between a Sentra and an Accord - this will be good enough, no more no less.

> Much lower rotation range - this will only go about a quarter turn in each direction before locking out whereas the Logitechs will do one-and-a-quarter turns before locking

> Much less sensitive - fine movements are not really possible with this so things like near misses will be harder to do

Imo these two are big enough cons for me to not recommend it especially if they'd start getting interested in something a little more serious down the line. I also cannot speak of longevity but I've known of 3rd owner G29s also lasting for very long. Overall, not much of a contest unless a G29/920 would be overkill in one way or another.

Guys and Gals, this is not a Force Feedback wheel, this is like a couple of bungee cords and the same kind of rumble you get in a hand controller. If you want Force Feedback at the entry level, look at the barely-more-expensive Logitech or Thrustmaster wheels that advertise Force Feedback, they'll get you the intro-level racing experience you're after.

Then you can decide if you want spend $500+ on some "forever wheels".....

I have one of these I'd sell for $25 plus shipping if someone wants it. I also have the higher end thrustmaster pedals that invert as well I'd sell for $65 plus shipping.
