I'm half and half on this album, one of the strongest openings with Hexagram-Minerva, seriously some of my all time favorite Deftones songs, but then it falls off. It felt like they were trying to be too many things at once. They were trying to replicate White Pony's success with it's mix of styles (Feticeira=Hexagram, Change=Minerva, Knife Prty=Battle Axe, Team Sleep songs Teenager=Lucky You), but at the same time were having a crisis of being labeled as "going soft" and intentionally tried to be harder, more of Chino screaming, Steph bringing out the 7 string and drop tuning to G#, almost purely minor key songs in the second half.

Crazy enough, this is the 13th most expensive album to produce of all time.

Great album and reviews like the pressing. Seems like a good deal at present.

Best album ever made imo. No skips on this thing, every song is a banger.

Agreed, wasn't impressed when it came out except save a few songs. Imho it's their 8th best album, Ohms is slightly better.. (Gore and Adrenaline 9-10)
