I own a pair. Definitely my favorite lifting shoe. And I've tried many.

Ordered a pair. Looks like an interesting barefoot shoe on the trail to compliment my Lems.

I have a similar pair I use for HIIT workouts. Completely agree they are perfect for lifting and weight training 0 drop shoes.

I feel it can be used as a water shoe?

Anyone here actually used it extensively for trail hiking? I got the agility peak 5 on sale a couple weeks ago and they're decent but a little too tall and more suited for muddy trails than the desert trails I do.

No. It still has padding that will get soaked and take a while to dry. It's better than your average Nike running shoe, but I personally would buy a water shoe if I needed a water shoe.

I have. It has a VERY limited sole, and you can definitely feel everything. Good for building foot resilience, but very challenging. I moved to a trail glove, which is basically the same shoe but with a more substantial sole. I'd consider that unless you REALLY want to move toward being able to go barefoot on trails.

I have this shoe and really like it, but like others have commented on the internet, the sole isn't very robust. Many of the ridges/bumps have worn off. I've taken it on some trails, so it has been used in challenging terrain, but it happened fast. Don't expect this to last you as long as like a Red Wing boot or something.

Fine for non-technical trails; use on tech trails only if specifically want to condition your feet and don't mind shortening the shoe's lifespan if done regularly.

I've found they dry pretty quickly while using these hiking and crossing streams in. Can also remove the insole if just using in the water and not walking.

The Trail Glove version usually has a more robust sole. I've been nursing along a pair of Trail Glove 3s for many years (my third pair, alas). I have a pair of Trail Glove 7s, which have a similar, if somewhat thicker sole than the Vapor Glove. I also have the Vapor glove listed here. I prefer the fit of the Vapor Glove (as mentioned by other reviewers, it's a great weight lifting shoe). I would only use the VG for light hiking. With similar pressure lifting/folding at the toe, the VG easily folds in half, the TG folds to about 90º around the ball of the foot.

I own a pair from last deal & these shoes aren't for everyone

Grip is great but apart from gym 🏋️ ♀️ or rock climbing can't be used for other aspects. Would definitely not reco it as water shoe or on trails

I've bought 3 consequtive Vapor Gloves and wonder if this Trail version will last longer. I've also tried an Ali-clone which didn't fit well like these and lasted half of what the merrels did; otherwise not bad...for 33$ (not worth it obviously). So, will v.Trail last longer? Txs
