Only warning is if you like to have your monitors mounted on your desk these are 75x75 and not the normal 100x100 VESA mounts.

Good to point out but isn't that pretty normal for a monitor? 100x100 (or larger) is more typical on TV's but I am not sure I have ever had a monitor that wasn't 75x75, nor a 100x100 mount that didn't have holes for 75x75.

What confuses me is the product title on Walmart.com is "MSI 34" Curved UWQHD (2560 x 1440) HDMI DP 100Hz 1ms Adaptive-Sync LCD Gaming Monitor - Optix MAG342CQR" yes the details say "3440 x 1440." MSI's website says 3440 x 1440 as well.

This is a VA panel. I wouldn't recommend for gaming but for productivity this is a good choice.

300 nits is passible (IMO, barely), but nothing to write home about. Overall, I would take IPS over VA in a heartbeat. You only get one pair of eyes per lifetime. Guess the price has that baked in though.

Actually, I would be more concerned about a VA panel for productivity then gaming. Generally an IPS monitor with 400 nits or greater and decent refresh rate would be a better choice for productivity. Especially if you need color accuracy.

Can anybody confirm the refresh rate? Both title and item detail mentioned 100Hz, but item spec says 144hz.
