I just got this deal, but ships in a couple of weeks (fine with me, though). Too bad this is a deal these days.
Yeah good luck actually getting it...my 850x did the same thing...couple weeks...nope. This current deal shows in the app, but won't let me add to my cart. Which is slightly different from the recent Samsung deal that would go to my cart, but then not let me check out. I'm convinced this is some kind of psychological experiment...

They were still available for me so I've got one on order for delivery between Feb 15th - Feb 22. Delivery date not important to me. Thanks for the listing.

The market has changed. Hardware companies are dedicating more resources to AI companies because that's where the money is, shrinking the supply on the consumer end and driving up prices. Crucial/micron, one of the big memory manufacturers, is completely exiting the consumer market, for example.

Most likely give you an enterprise drive . They still make ssds they just don't sell to the public. Not to mention they still sell nand to other consumer brands
I'm not 100% sure how it works with consumer products, but on the enterprise size, companies like Micron stock enough spares to replace drives consistent to cover their failure rate, releasing stock as the end-of-warranty date approaches. I worked for a network appliance vendor and we had contracts with OEMs to supply the exact specific parts down to the part revision and firmware version for five years after EOL. It was very rare they messed this up. It's probably one of the reasons you see 2-3 year parts pop up in large quantities from time to time, especially on BF.

I get that, but that still doesn't make $200 a slick deal valid for this site. A Lamborghini might also be a good deal with 100k off but you don't see it posted on here.

You clearly don't know anything about SSDs if you're asking that question

Just remember when the AI bubble bursts that Crucial/Micron were one of the companies that abandoned the consumer market.

I agree. Feel like this is a waste of time and $ whereas better deal will eventually come around. I mean if anyone don't NEED SSD then why bother jumping the panic buying lol

2TB no-DRAM having drive. At least it's TLC NAND I suppose. I would not use this for a Windows boot drive or in a PS5, but as a storage or as a games drive, it would be fine.
