"Waterproof" usually means not very breathable...so being non-waterproof is a helpful distinction if you have sweaty feet.
EDIT: Code still works. The four sale colors are $67.99 before the code and $40.79 after coupon. Bought a second pair to rotate. These shoes have completely improved my hammer toes and changed the way I use my feet when I walk. These have been recommended as a gateway to barefoot shoes and I completely agree.

I just got these in the mail, they're horrible. The arch is way to high. I've had shoes like the before and if your hiking all day it will leave you bruised and hurting. The shoes were shown as olive green on the website, but they look like a gray color. The shoe heel lifts up as well unless you tie down like crazy. The shoe laces are way to big.. moabs on the flip side come to short. I'm returning. I
