The Olympic White Player II Strat Limited Edition is a hidden gem too. Two huge pros:
-roasted maple neck
-Custom Shop Fat 50 pickups

If you like those pickups, it's a sweet deal.

The couple listings i researched say they are just regular Alnicos.
"Player Series Alnico V Single-Coil Strat pickups"
But still this is a great deal. $550 for a real rosewood brand new strat. Used players IIs are 649 area.

It's the one for $629.99 ...costs a bit more, but worth it if you like those pickups.

Snagged the Fender Player II Strat in White Blonde. Great price. The ones with transparent finishes (like this one) are actually very lightweight due to having chambered bodies.
