Is there a reason the Gretsch are labeled as "Fender Gretsch". Literally no one refers to them as that.

Like calling a Squier a "Fender Squier" lol

Great price on the JV Modified 50's Strat. I bought mine for $650 used last year and I've really enjoyed it. Incredibly light (I honestly think it might be less than 7lbs), smooth and full-feeling satin V neck and the humbucker split at the bridge is great.

Fender Squier is used on the listing of pretty much every Squier on Amazon though. You are completely correct otherwise. I've never seen Gretsch referred to as "Fender Gretsch".

The Quality of the Japanese Gretsch's is outstanding! The 6128T-53 Duo Jet is an Amazing Guitar (very similar to the one George Harrison used with the Beatles). Even the Hard shell case is a very good quality Gretsch Labeled TKL. This is a Great Price!

The manufacturing for the Player series and some others was moved from Mexico to Ensenada. It says right there on the headstock. Glad they cleared that up.

It's a bummer you can't get the Gretch's like 2420s and 5420s anymore for under $450ish. I got my Gretsch from this store a few years ago for $250. Stupid inflation.
