not quite.. DPU (7.2kW output, 5.6kW solar input, 30kWh max expansion capacity) vs DPUX (12kW output, 10kW solar input, 60kWh max capacity)

...and also just to note the 12kWh DPU $5999 currently costco was very recently $4499

I have the DPU with 4 batteries for the last 2 years, and it's been a great experience and investment.
I'd like to upgrade to the DPU-X, but not going to pay their crazy price!
These companies are going to have to reduce prices by 30% soon to take up for the the tax credit, or go bankrupt.

Serious question, is it not better to get some sort of inverter that can tie into a house and get a bunch of standalone lifepo4 batteries? I've started seeing 260ah 12v batteries for $260. I don't know all the conversions, i just hate predone systems because once they fail, the company won't help fix it, just expect you to buy a whole other system and maybe gives you $200 off the next one...

Yes but it requires a lot of research to get safe UL listed components and some understanding how to wire it all together safely. Buying at Costco relieves some of the worry for ecoflow.

True. I just don't trust ecoflow, any company that won't fix an issue, even for a charge and asks you to buy another, I don't trust. Companies that make it hard to fix anything and won't sell you parts can't be trusted. I learned my lesson on peloton.
