I could ruminate over all the free paper that Staples used to literally pay me to take from them. This is the present, though. They keep moving the cheese. They have actually improved their rewards system. I am no longer forced to spend $40'ish per month there. I can just bank my points for a large free purchase now.
How about Kohl's deals? Same situation. Many are poor, but now and then, a gem.
Amex Serve? RIP.
Amex for Target? RIP
My point is be thankful for any deals. They never last forever. You should not come to expect or demand them.
