Price match at Best Buy. Tips for this


Find a microcenter that shows it has stock better if in same state or nearby state
Go to Best Buy online chat and request price match
Be polite to CS rep
If they're say no, say thanks and hop in another chat and try again
Not sure if it helps but I do this logged out of Best Buy, in incognito and restart incognito if failed. This is incase they track chat / what former rep said.

Reminder: even if you don't have a Microcenter nearby, you can buy online on Best Buy, then price match via customer chat, just be ready to send a link to a Microcenter ad showing it in stock. It's what I did -- finished the price match before heading to Best Buy to pickup.

Several locations back in stock at Microcenter. Spoke to Best Buy sales via online chat. Gave them the zip for a location that had stock. The exact specs at Best Buy are a 3rd party seller, so they couldn't match. They were able to use the sku for the 512gb version that they do sell, however. I still purchased the 256GB version. I would just give the default sku that shows up for their inventory in store.

They gave me a sale link, I paid, and in the same chat they issued a refund. I shipped it to my address in a different location. Already received a refund confirmation via email.

Santa Clara is also my local store, I did the Best Buy price match via chat. I used a link for the Micro Center in AZ that had the Mac Mini in stock and Best Buy did the price match. No questions asked about location difference from where I am located and Micro Center location.

How did you convince them? They ask me the shipping address before they send a purchase link so when I send my address they won't send me the link.
