If you purchased from Amazon directly and not a 3rd party seller it will load into your Amazon music account and can be played there or you can download to your phone (at least on Android you can I'm not sure about Apple)

I would go back and look at your email from when you purchased it and see if it says the shipper/seller is amazon.com if not you will not get the MP3 rip . If it was then check Amazon music in your library
