Don't know thickness makes much of a difference.

I would not trust Chinese medical products without foreign oversight. Standards for safety and human life are measured differently there.

Where are you getting those figures? From what I'm seeing, they are identical.

The video shows the thickness, not sure how truthful companies are with that though or the method of measuring is even standardized

Do yourself and your loved ones a lifetime favor and use silicone gel and/or coverings (per instructions) on deep/closed wounds.

Dumb take, the majority of electronics (including Apple products) are manufactured in China, their manufacturing quality is the best in the world. A lot of medical supplies are already made in China too, they produce 20% of all current medical supplies used in the US right now.
