I'm really dissapointed in where Slickdeals has ended up

When I discovered this site it was a bunch of people hunting deals and sharing them, it feels like those days are gone and it's turned into a place for generic Amazon products to be pushed by the staff. I used to refer people here every chance I got, it was a great place, I hate to see what it's become. New accounts created to push junk products and write fake reviews here just make it that much worse. It may be making more profits now, but I feel it's going to hurt the site in the long run.

My cousin, who is not tech savvy, started posting deals and couponing codes with all the instructions on how to do this because she saw it on someawfulwebsite.com.
There's only a finite amount of deals each day, unfortunately.
In addition to this, retailers started getting smart and second checking prices before they went live. (RIP digital camera for 90% off through a Target mistake).
