I got these based on the last deal post for them. They're very plastic-y and basic (for example, there's no way to adjust the angle to direct the beam other than pointing it with your head). But I tested both and they work fine. The modest 100 lumen output doesn't bother me. That's plenty of light to check a breaker panel, find a dropped key or search for something in a dark closet. If you're looking for nighttime running/hiking, SAR or some other long beam throw use, you'll want to spend more for better performance and durability. But for something to stash in your utility drawer, glove compartment or tool box, these seem like a decent deal.
