I wore an Eco-Drive out of college until it could no longer keep time through the night. Rather than buying a new one I realized that I always had my phone with me and it did every thing my watch did and more. I haven't worn a watch since. I'm genuinely curious why people are still buying Citizen and Seiko watches like this. They're not as useful as smartwatches and I don't think they're status symbols like Rolex or Omega. What am I missing?
