Seems like a good deal. I like Typhur, they're like a kickstarter-type company that's making some innovative, albeit expensive, kitchen gadgets. I have three different wireless meat thermometers so I don't need a fourth, but if I were in the market I'd buy one of these. Keep in mind that they also are behind Thermomaven thermometers too. The thermometer here is the Gen 1 version. I had to look it up to see what improvements they made with Gen 2:
