I purchased the digital Walker's and Howard Leight, tried them both and returned the Walkers. Two issues: though they have "omni-directional" mics, they don't play the amplified audio in stereo so you don't get left/right perception. These also produced an annoying electronic interference "whine" if my cellphone is within ~2ft of the headset (chest pocket). For a basic range set not a big deal, but both of these issues were too problematic to be used for hunting.
I ended up also getting Peltor sport-tac 500 on a good sale. It's a pricing jump up but they have become my primary set. More comfortable, more dB blocked, directional sound.
