What's the shelf life on these? I probably go through 1 battery per year. Better to buy 2 Energizer batteries on Ebay for $3? Or 10 of these for $7 but risk them dying on me before I need them?

I bought this in November trying to fix my car key fob problem saying "remote not detected", I trusted it too much that lead me to believe it was my car modules. Reprogrammed everything after buying parts still nothing. So I finally bought a Energizer pack and put the battery in, worked. If you get those you better test them make sure they are good. I tested the rest of mine and none of them would even show a light on my tester...

depends what year the package you receive was made, in the past they generally were made in bulk year round and would sit in a storage facility and then delivered but generally speaking if proper FIFO warehousing was done each pack would normally be delivered within a year

unless there is some mixup id imagine most are delivered within months of production now, these basically survive 5 years

think some claim a decade... id still say 5 years (granted... that is if they were made properly to begin with)

These don't last as long as the Duracell from costco, just FYI. I use a lot of these for my bikes and the coating can be problematic depending on the device.

Worst battery. I have a bunch showing expiring in 2031. My key fob was not working. I tried with two batteries and nothing. I thought something was wrong. I went to a locksmith who does reprogramming and he installed a top brand battery and there it is. It worked. I trashed all ten batteries today.
