FYI: there's a trick to get direct access to the 48V battery on Ecoflows: a 1kΩ jumper between pins 4 & 5 on the Aux battery port will enable the relays to the batteries. It's good if you want to use your own external higher power MPPT charge controller or Inverter or external 48V add-on batteries. Personally I'm hooking it up to a 25A DC-DC lab power supply... when I get time.

Also, the XT60 connector has an extra pin that tells it if the device is 8A or less (car charger) or up to 16A (solar). You either need to shell out for ecoflow branded cables or you can make XT60 adapters that jump the sense pin to + or - for whatever devices and cables you plug in.

Finally, most household 120VAC devices are limited to 12A, or 1,440W for continuous use and 15A or 1800W for short-term use. That means that this will power pretty much anything, even a level 1 electric car charger. Of course it can only run those high power devices for like an hour. Charging an electric car for an hour is good for like 4 or 5 miles. Running a heater for an hour is better than nothing in a power failure, but you're better off powering the ventilation fan and starter on a propane heater that will last for many hours or days.

When I bought a refurb Ecoflow, it had a short manufacturer warranty and a longer AllState warranty. Not sure about the quality of the extra warranty, but they sent me the warranty info via email before I even received the power station. Works as expected.

I'd take the extra 500wh on a refurb and hope it continues working beyond the 1 year warranty.
I'd do the opposite. It'll mostly stay in UPS mode. I'd rather have the 10 year warranty that I'll likely use rather than an extra capacity I might never need.

I thought these refurbs were still eligible to be registered for a 5 year warranty through ecoflow. At lease that's what people were saying a year or so ago. Did that change again??
If so, I think you're making a big mistake to buy these at a modest discount, and then go from a 5 to a 2 year warranty. They would have to be going at half the lowest sale price to make me even think about purchasing...

Airfryer?
I'd have to know your exact Air Fryer wattage to say with certainty. But I'd guess that it could. I've used my Breville convection oven to cook using my standard Delta 2 well over a dozen times in three different power outages. Delta 2 has the exact same watt rating as this unit. my average cook time was probably around 18-20 minutes. It surges up to just under 1700 watts for a minute or two at a time during the cook. Often cruising along at 600-700 watts. Never had even a slight issue.

I got this during the previous the deal, works great. Only hate that the 12V on all batteries slip out often since I keep it in my car. Anyone know a solution.

This is false info. I messaged them and they said it's only a 1 year warranty. Just because you were able to register your unit doesn't mean they'll honor it when it malfunctions.

I have this, it's basically a Delta 2 with extra capacity and with slightly quieter fans. I've been using it daily for a year now, it works as expected.
What do you use it for daily?

Lots of these lifepo4 power stations say "10 year lifespan" for the batteries but that doesn't mean warranty - they just expect the cells to last 10+ years.

It doesnt look like any Delta or River products come with a 10 year warranty at the moment. Maybe they did but it changed?

I have this for a year now

paid $450 then

don't regret it

the 20ms switchover is enough to catch the PC

it did however mysterious just turn itself off when it got really cold last week

and I don't like how you cannot update the firmware without it rebooting and cycling all the power ports, so I basically never do that

btw this thing is HEAVY, basically at the limit to what I can lift though others may be stronger

This seems like a really good deal for that capacity or am I missing something?
$0.26/WH is a good deal for new with a 5+ year warranty, not sure about used/refurb. Appreciate all the work, OP.
