The subcompact impact driver by rigid is one of my favorite tools, albeit incredibly loud lol. Gonna see if I can hunt this down in my area.

I JUST bought the drill and impact kit. To me, it was much quieter than my m12 brushless subcompact drill and impact kit. I've decided to switch my tools over to Ridgid as needed. I love Milwaukee but the prices for DIY is catching up.

It was one of my favorite tools as well. However, mine broke after about 1 year of light use. The chuck actually broke. I was bummed because i liked it a lot!

Lifetime warranty (if you registered it). Use the web form and they'll give you a label to ship it in and they'll send it back with a new chuck.

Picked one up, thank you! My store also had the impact driver kit for same price (sold out at my location, YMMV)

I have the M12 Fuel Impact and the M12 Fuel SURGE Impact. I use the Surge every time. It is incredibly quiet, to the point I sometimes wonder if it is working because it sounds so much different. Worth the investment if you are driving screws indoors often(or ever and you have the extra cash).

Better deal than the $45 deal with the shop light? I have this drill but a second one seems more useful than a light

Depends on which light. I like to have option for shop/auto & emergency lighting when/if power goes out.

For the ATL people - I saw 2 of these priced at $58 on the Clearance end-cap at the Midtown Atlanta location on Ponce yesterday.

Seems like the floor space for Ridgid is shrinking (at least at my HD) and Milwaukee and DeWalts presence is expanding. It would be nice for a new line from Ridgid to stay competitive!
