I like having a cheap set of blades for stuff like drywall, I save the more expensive ones for tougher jobs.

How are you thinking a cheap blade would hurt you enough to go to the hospital? I've used cheap blades for years with no issues. Even if the blade somehow shattered in operation I have trouble seeing where the risk of injury is.
