No boost button according to product page and pictures on this model, so this will not start a completely dead battery. Quite a few reviews mentioned the battery does not stay charged long, as well as cheap plastic clamps. For 30 bucks you get what you pay for I guess. Project farm recommends the Gooloo GT4000 as they tested it and claim it's well-made and the battery can stay charged up to two years, it has a boost mode to start completely dead batteries, yet that is 99 bucks. Hopefully someone will post a 50% off code on that one!

I bought this last time it came up and it does so have a boost button and furthermore I've used it several times already to jump dead batteries and never once used the boost button.
Basically you don't know what you are talking about.

How does this compare to the NOCO Boosts?
Those are generally regarded as the best ones. A review site said Gooloo was the 2nd recommended and best as for as dollar value. Jump and carry is regarded as very good too. I had a Gooloo and though it worked , the usb c charging port just went dead so now it's useless and can't be charged. Bit disappointed but I ordered another one on sale at Walmart. Aubrew was good and I have an old one of those as well l, but I think they changed their name to Andeman

For $29.99, this is a no-brainer emergency tool.
Even if it gets used once, it pays for itself versus:
• A tow
• A jump service
• Waiting on someone else
Buy a $30 multimeter on Aliexpress with MIN/MAX voltage function. Check the MIN cranking voltage once a quarter when the battery is over 3 yr old . Over 9.6 VDC = good for another 3 months. If under 9.6 VDC, then check for voltage drop at + battery cable, - battery cable, starter solenoid, and starter. If these items are OK, then replace the battery. Trouble free battery with this strategy for over 36 years of driving.

Made in Japan Panasonic battery can last +8 years. Made in USA Duracell/East Penn at Sams is good for about 5 years. A battery jump starter is useless if there is excessive resistance at the + battery cable, - battery cable, or starter solenoid.

Has anyone confirmed that it actually has the BOOST Button?

It doesn't show or say in the description

Walmart has the Gooloo GE4500 for $45. You can check it out on their website to see if it fits your needs. it has a BOOST BUTTON to start dead batteries.

Have had this exact same device for several years now.
I can't tell you how many times it has helped me jump start cars, trucks, atv's... You name it.
IT is amazing. The boost button really helps but usually just the regular (non boosted) jump will get you going.
HIGHLY recommended to have.

$110... yeah okay.
You wish you paid 110 if you're stranded in the middle of nowhere. At 30$ this is SO worth it.

Really? I think it has boost, that's the one I have owned for years and it works amazing. Most of the time didn't even need boost.

Which is it, you think it has boost or it does have boost? You are contradicting yourself as two posts earlier you made the comment that it does have a boost button and now you say that you think it has a boost button. Are you sure that you own this P10 model even, or do you own one of the other models on the same product page? And why not simply post a pic of this model (if it is in fact the one you own) with that boost button as I've previously asked for in this thread to help others in the community? You have to admit, the pics on the product page do not show it, and nowhere on the product page is it mentioned. Several other models on the same product page show the boost button in the pictures as well mention in the description. Even the owners manual on the Astroai website does not show the feature on this P10 model, yet several of their other models do list the feature.

The boost feature enables you to jumpstart a completely depleted battery at or near zero voltage. I would not waste my money on one of these devices without that feature, since you really won't know if your battery is completely dead or not until you need to jumpstart it, and at that point if you don't have the boost feature and doesn't start because of it, you will be kicking yourself in the ass!

Since there is no boost button in any ot the pics on this model and no mention of this feature on the product page for the P10, please post a pic of of the P10 you claim to own. Otherwise you obviously don't know what you are talking about, and just a shill.

There is NO boost button shown on the manual. Per the spec, the unit can deliver a maximum of 300 A (nominal starter current draw) for 30 seconds. Typical crank time is around 0.8 second. Battery voltage in yellow. Ground voltage drop in blue.

You might want to look at the Gooloo GE4500 on Walmart website. It's $45

The jump starter finally arrived so i'll post some information for future reference.
The cable does NOT have a boost button. However, that doesn't matter if you understand what the boost feature actually does. Normally, the circuitry that's part of the cable, where the relay is, checks if the battery voltage is above 9V before the relay is turned on supplies power to your car's battery. This is indicated by the blinking green light turning solid green and the relay clicking on. If your battery is very dead where the voltage is below 9V, it'll keep blinking green and there's no output from the jump starter. Pressing the boost button will bypass the check and will let the jump starter supply power to your battery. The P10's cable does not have this check and fully powers the battery, so there is need for this boost functionality. The term is entirely a marketing thing to make you think "boost = power!!!".
I tested all this with along with an AstroAI S8 1500A (which has the boost feature) on a dead battery that only has 8.75V. The P10 will simply turns solid green and I get 16V at the battery terminal. The S8 will do nothing and keep blinking green until I press the boost button and the relay clicks and I get 16V. Both jump starters are exactly identical in terms of specs, despite one being sold as 5000A. There are zero markings anywhere on the boxes, manual, or the starter brick that says "5000A" or anything relating to cranking current.
