Tri band WiFi 6 ends up being a lot better coverage than 6e. Most people choose 6 over 6e as the 6ghz band is only useful at extremely close proximity to the router providing less coverage.

WiFi 6 already supports well over 1gb speeds so 6e made little to no sense. Tri band WiFi 7 solves that with MLO but your devices have to be WiFi 7 compatible so it's not great since most devices in homes are not.
