Klipsch Flexus Core 210 is a compact 3.1.2 soundbar package that stands out for easy setup, strong bass from the included 10 inch subwoofer, and a fuller sound than smaller bars. The app, build quality, and overall value at $379 get positive marks, and the system can sound surprisingly convincing for TV and movie use. The main knocks are inconsistent dialogue clarity, unconvincing Atmos effects for some content, and the fact that it still cannot match a full AV receiver and separate speakers. The coupon code also appears to have expired at times, so pricing has been a moving target.

If I keep it... it will definitely require some tuning.
Update: as of Feb. 14th, code works again. Thanks all! Happy Singles Awareness Day. <3
Pros:
- strong bass from the bar and subwoofer kicks in when there are strong action scenes. Netflix movie The Rip was a good test.
- relatively easy setup
Cons:
- dialogue clarity is hit or miss. In dialogue forward content like watching a show such as shrinking or Ted lasso, it's not a problem. But when you are watching a movie where dialogue is intertwined with a soundtrack or background noise, clarity sometimes drops noticeably. I currently have dialogue enhancement set to high and mids boosted to +3.
- Atmos effects are not convincing. My older Samsung Q950a has noticeable Atmos effect clarity.
Summary: I was surprised at how full this soundbar is. Without the subwoofer, it's a more full sound than from my time with a Bose 600 soundbar. The subwoofer is stronger than my Q950a soundbar. The varying dialogue clarity is an annoyance. For this price, it's definitely a high value that I have a hard time fully regretting. For $450-$500+, I would be considering other options.

This discussion is not about what someone is convinced of, no debating that.
It is about two completely different surround designs.
Unless a soundbar can defy physics.
That ONE speaker can not "do the jobs" of a traditional speaker setup!
It's designed to simulate it mainly through technology.
Anyone that claims they are comparable did not properly implement their traditional speaker setup imo.
