The field 5 is also down to a great price 67 i believe. I got two at 85 and was quite happy with them. Would have been happier at 20% off but got CB from going through eBay.

How are the Sony certified refurbished through secondipity? Do they actually replace the battery if it's been used alot already?

For what it's worth I got the Field 7 from them last year for about $145 I think and it has been fine. I've also bought headphones and TVs from them without issue. Oddly enough the only thing I ever had to return was a good processor because it was missing parts.

I am just leery when a "certified refurbished" is not sold by the manufacturer. I mean anyone can slap the word certified on and no one will dispute them. If it's not certified, it's basically used (shouldn't even bother putting refurbished on there).

I think Secondipity has some sort of relationship with Sony. I've bought 2 pairs of Sony earbuds, headphones, and the Ult Field 5 from them and besides the lack of original packaging I would not have known they weren't brand new (including battery life/performance).

I bought a field 5 at the beginning of January and the Bluetooth button was broken. Couldn't be put into discover mode. Still don't have a replacement

How is this compared to the soundcore x500? Seems to be better, but significantly heavier and bulkier.

I did and they sent me a label and told me I would receive an email when they ship the replacement. I'm going to email them Monday and see what's going on. Almost a month turn around at this point.
