I don't know why someone downvoted your comment. It's very accurate based on my experience too. Many of the cheap dollar store hinges tend to break off. I've had good success with pharmacy branded options like from Walgreens and CVS.

The Dollar Tree ones used to be great but now they're terrible. They now use very thin plastic and the compartment lids don't snap closed tightly. After too many instances of pills scattering on the floor, my Dollar Tree pill cases are going into the garbage.
