I've had this for maybe 5 years now. Overall it has been fantastic, incredibly powerful, it doesn't slow down no matter what you're cutting. About 1 year after I bought it(still was within warranty), it started cutting out intermittently, which became worse over time and eventually stopped working completely. I called DW support, they had me mail it to them "with absolutely nothing attached to it because no accessory will be returned." It took a very long time, maybe 8-9 weeks or so. Eventually they said the part it needed wasn't in stock (it may have been related to all the covid BS) and they were going to send me a refurbished model when they could. A few days later I got a brand new one, with a 9AH battery, another 6 amp charger, tool bag, two different size blade guards and a bundle of discs (about 5 each of cutting, grinding and flap disc). While I was annoyed with the time it took, this was fantastic! No problems since, even though I thoroughly abuse this tool like most of my others.

One downside I will say, is the battery does deplete rather quickly, much faster if you are using it continuously on something that requires a lot of torque. If I had to guess, continuous light or no load use is probably 20-25 minutes, heavy load probably half that. If you use it in short bursts over a day you'll likely get 40+ minutes out of it. This is just the nature of lithium batteries in general, hot batteries deplete much faster. The 6A charger does charge the battery fairly quick, maybe 1.5 hours though if you use it for work I'd suggest getting their fast charger (12 amp charges in half the time or less, it has a cooling fan, the 6A doesn't)
