When I got my first place after college, I got an LG air purifier with one of these forever HEPAs.

Never again. They become a mess to maintain and vacuum. Or they lose airflow and become worthless.

Filters are still rotated every 3-9 months because it works.

I absolutely love mine so far. Have had it for about 6mo and it has made a huge difference in my basement in air quality.

That maybe the LG but bought one of these a couple years ago during a renovation plus we have 4 dogs, has performed great. Fun to hear it speed up when you cook certain foods or the dogs play near by it will sense the change in particles in the air and run at a higher speed for a couple minutes.

These go on sale at Sam's for $179 a couple times a year. Got mine in mid-2024 and they've gone on sale 3-4 times since then. This has been great for the house. Thinking about another one for downstairs next time they go on sale again. I've enjoyed it and cleaning the filter is a breeze...simply spray it off in the shower and it's good for 4-5 months.

Agree with others here, we've owned one for about a year and love it. It is incredibly sensitive, it goes nuts when my wife cooks!

REFRESH is a second code that stacks with this one. Got me down to $211 on the website for the filter and the remote!

edit: it added the taxes after and took it to $224. Looks like a measly further discount on the remote
