I got it for $520 last year. It took me and another guy 5 hours to assemble. It's easier if you watch a video on how to assemble it while you consult the instructions.
It's a great machine. The chair doesn't adjust, which is the biggest weakness of the machine.
Overall it was worth it for the price and it helped me exercise.
This home gym station stands out for cable-based workouts and compact all in one training, especially leg press and ab crunch work. The machine is described as solid once assembled, with one setup taking about five hours for two people and another spread over two days solo, helped by an assembly video and the instructions. The biggest drawback is the fixed chair and the 150 pound stack, which can limit heavier compound moves and leg work. It suits cable training better than free weight style lifting.
Beginners wanting cable-based isolation work, because the machine is fine for exercises that do not need heavy compound loading.
Assembly is a DIY project and can take about 5 hours with two people, though it can also be done solo over two days. A setup video plus the instructions makes it easier.
The 150 lb stack is fine for isolation movements and lighter lifting, but it can be limiting for compound exercises, especially leg work. It is more suitable if you do not need heavy resistance.
At around $467 to $520, it was considered worth it by buyers who wanted the leg press and ab crunch functions and were fine with cable-based training. It is a better fit if you want a compact home gym with cables rather than free weights.
The chair does not adjust, and that is the biggest weakness called out for this machine. That fixed seat position can make some exercises, like the leg press, harder to line up perfectly.
This reminds me of those Bowflex machines in the 90s and 00s. Tons of people bought them...and then they sat there. I'd rather have a set of adjustable weight dumbbells any day.
I have a Bowflex that I bought 5 years ago and put together myself. It has been one of my best purchases and I use it regularly. I'm my case it's been much better having this at home vs going to a gym.
Never heard of this brand. These lesser known brands truly terrify me when it comes to lifting heavy weights. Like so many others have mentioned, some free weights in an adjustable setup sounds a bit more reliable.
Buy a power rack/squat rack, an Olympic bar, and weights instead. Much better investment than this.
My friend has one of these isolation machines. It's OK if you never exercised before and/or need isolation exercises.
But if you want to build muscle mass (particularly is you are older and need to maintain muscle mass), then a squat rack, barbell, weights, and a set of dumbbell, will provide results far beyond an isolation machine.
Also read the book, "Starting Strength, basic barbell training", 3rd edition, by Mark Rippetoe. It is the bible of strength training for the non-professional. Excellent details.
I am 69 yrs young and bought my first squat rack cage (Mikolo F4 version 2.0 for about $329 at Walmart, free shipping) after using an inadequate bench press rack which was a pain to adjust for doing squats. The Mikolo squat rack cage makes me feel like a kid on a jungle gym. After I do the squats, bench press, deadlifts, two-hand overhead press, I do extra with the many accessories. Lat pull downs, rows, triceps rope extensions, curls, pull ups, straps for abd workout, rings, bands... pure joy. . I wouldn't have as much fun with an isolation machine.

Syedee is a Mikolo brand. Mikolo is pretty well known. For that matter, much of the well known brands are just rebadged versions of other brands. For example compare bowflex adjustable dumbbells to fitrx. Identical except for the premium you pay for the bowflex sticker on the side.

I'm pretty sure the crowd that you're trying to communicate your point to already believe that. As someone who used to be a free weight purist (and has the bum shoulders and spinal fusion to prove it), I'm sticking to cables now. Good deal if cables are what you're looking for. Bad deal if you're looking for free weights (durr)

And yeah, the laundry comment. How long does it take to become a laundry / blanket stand like our old treadmill.
