Yep, I've been happy with mine. Put in 40+ attic baffles (plastic ones, not the Styrofoam kind), stapled tons of insulation both overhead and on the walls, and it's even survived a few 6ft+ falls off a ladder and keeps kicking. Project farm rated it well, too. Yeah it's a little heavier than the old fashioned staplers, but it tons easier to use. Works fine on a 2ah battery, so you don't need to use a heavy 4ah.

Project farm rated this very high. I am in the ridgid ecosystem, so I bought a ryobi to ridgid adapter and it works great.

This is by far my favorite Ryobi tool. And I have about 30 of them. I've used it to staple the tyvek sheeting on when I redid the siding on my house, along with many other projects and it's never let me down. Hell it's never even jammed before and I've had it for over 3 years, and fed it with decades old rusty staples I got from my dad's place 😂. 1000% recommend.

No, it can't shoot brad nails. Only 3/8 staples.

This is a great deal. This stapler works great. I use it for assembling flat pack furniture and hanging wall art.

The number of times this thing has sped up some random project has easily made it one of my favorite (but easy to forget) tools. From expected projects like putting plastic over windows in winter and attaching insulation to those more unexpected things like hanging garage sale posters or setting up for a wedding reception.

It has always worked exactly as expected for me and anyone who used it. A dial to adjust the depth and a button to make it...go. Pretty simple and mine has done that simple task great every time. Never a jam, and actually forgot staples jamming was even a thing until I read the comment above mentioning how they never had a jam either. Battery life seems good, I guess, but honestly never needed to change a battery in the middle of using it so I never really paid enough attention to that part. Nothing flashy. Just a tool doing it's simple job just like you expect, every time.

If there was any downside I could think of it would be the weight. It isn't what I would call "heavy" but it is pretty close and I can totally see how others might consider it so. Never been an issue for me, but I could see how long periods of holding it out could get a bit tiring pretty quick. Still don't think it would be as rough as trying to do the same thing with a regular staple gun, but worth mentioning.

If something happened to mine, even if it just straight up died today, this would be one of the easiest "buy it again" for any of my tools.
