Not sure if it's just me, but is this like an instant winter humidifier boost? NE cold is killing with home humidity plunging to sub 15, no humidifier is able to handle it! It's almost like to pour water in your mouth to goggle for soar throat and half the water is gone in air before you spit out ;D

Cold air holds less moisture than warm air, holding everything else constant. This means any moisture pumped into the air will go straight to condensation if the temperature is low.
