Mod chipping isn't easy it's pretty hard to do and only a tiny fraction of people do it. Nintendo isnt hurting because of the .001% of owners who mod chip. Give me a break.

10 games..thou id go switch 2 instead of 1. Everything pretty much works faster and better on 2 then 1. Alot of support also for some stuff will end sooner then later. However if u found a switch 1 for like under 100 used, might be worth it
