The newer version (4 Pro) is coming out on 2/27 at $299. They usually have a discount on their products on launch day. Main differences are HDR10 and better speakers. General consensus is that if you have to 3s Pro, don't upgrade. If you do not have any, wait for the 4 pro to come out later this month. Do with that what you will.

Edit: If you plan on buying these, they are a good price. Refurbished ones from the official site cost $249, and you can get a 10% discount code that brings it down to $224. Might as well get them new.
