Step up to $430 and you get a 7600X3D, and at $500 you finally get 2x16GB with a 7700X.

Wow, smart thinking! I tried adding 2 to the cart and when I checked out it only would default to 1. So I had to do that transaction then go back and add it again and do another transaction Smilie I love how Microcenter doesn't require payment until you actually show up at the store to pick it up

ddr5 isn't as big of a deal for 1 vs 2 sticks as it has been in previous gen's.

I actually like the single stick better. Yes, it's lower performance than 2 channel but, at least I can buy one 16g stick another time in the future when I don't have to sell my kidney.

I think the single 16 stick may hold value better than 2 x 8gb sticks.

Easily resell that and buy a 32gb kit.
