For those who are unaware, 5gbe is much, much more rare to see in current network tech than 1/2.5/10, so make sure your connective devices actually can make use of it. Quite annoyingly counterintuitive to how ethernet standards have historically been, 10gbe does not imply backwards compatibility with anything lower than it, and they started calling hardware capable of doing "everything", multi-gigabit. But im seeing things use that terminology that doesn't support 5gbe.
Which is annoying because 5gbe is a nice bandwidth for a lot of uses, think 2.5 just beat it to wide adoption, and they figured well usb 3.0 which was still the prevailing connecting at the time, couldn't technically fully saturation 5gbe in most conditions, so why bother, i guess? now im just speculatively opining....
