Apple Watch Series 11 is drawing interest as a solid everyday smartwatch, with the bigger 46mm model standing out for noticeably better battery life than older Series 7 and Series 8 watches. Cellular adds convenience for fitness and going phone free, and the stainless steel and sapphire crystal versions are praised for staying scratch free. The main drawbacks are the extra monthly cellular fee, the sport band only configuration at this price, and the lack of Sport Loop or Nike band options through authorized retailers. A practical upgrade if battery life and durability matter most.

Oh the hilarious irony of you smugly saying that with your little sarcasm of "works" in quotation marks too while Apple literally just released the watchOS 10.6.2 update today for the Series 4. Try again.
That update only updated connection certificates, and possibly enabled AirTags 2. It does not add any security fixes - the device is still vulnerable.

In another reply, you claim it is a security update, however, the statement in the post that there are no CVEs makes clear that there are no security updates.

Apple only provides updates for the two prior OS releases for a limited period of time, unless there is a show-stopping exploit actively widespread.

Sorry but Costco has a price match program that we don't know about?
They will price match their own sale prices as long as your purchased within 30 days. I purchased one at their normal price 2 weeks ago and now it's $90 so I'm going in to get the price difference on a gift card. https://customerservice.costco.co...com-orders

Are you incapable of even reading

this still wasn't a farking software update

you can bitch and moan about that all you want but it won't change that reality.

ignorant as all hell.

"so what if it's true- I don't give a shit about security"

people like you will never be involved in software lifecycle (and clearly, you aren't) because this is the dumbest "my car gets me from place to place who the fark needs a seat belt".

learn something that helps prevent yourself from getting farked over in life
^^ Just listening to the way you talk with your bitter anger and foul mouth lets me know all I need to know about you. I gleaned that from you the moment you first replied to my comment, which was a very simple post on this thread simply stating that my watch is still working. Then you came along out of absolutely nowhere and decided to throw a raging hissy fit tantrum about someone saying they still use a particular watch. Get anger management lessons, mind your own business, and stop lecturing others from your high horse holier-than-thou pedestal.

Economy is in the dumpster for optional stuff. I want one to get 600 MHz reception and even I'm hesitant.

My Series 8 battery is flaking out pretty bad lately (even after a full reset and resync), so I got the Series 11 46mm GPS here. I also signed up for Prime Visa to get the $150 Amazon Credit. Made this about $200 out the door after taxes.

WARNING: Primary link that is supposed to direct you to the deal at Amazon is, instead, redirecting you to Best Buy's site.

As a rule, I avoid purchasing electronics at Best Buy...especially if purchasing as a gift for someone... because their return period is short...14 days for an Apple watch...and they also hit you with a $45 restocking fee if the item has been opened.

In contrast, Amazon and Walmart give you a 30 day return window, Costco and Target give you 90 days.... and none of them charge a restocking fee.

i upgraded from the series 7 45mm gps to this deal, series 11 46mm with celular and battery life is amazing. my old one would be at 20-30% constantly after a day at work, this one , about 70% after a day at work.

I'm using a family members 40mm series 5. It's fine for fitness tracking and does have cellular. Battery health is 80% so once it hits 79% I can do trade in for refurbished through Apple for out of warranty for $100. I'd prefer larger size so may just use that money towards a new model and bigger. I regret mot getting the series 10 46mm gps+ cellular for $279 around Black Friday form Walmart. But I didn't want rose gold and plum color sport loop and which I could easily changed or covered
Hi, when you said once it hits 79% battery health you can do a trade in for refurbished thru Apple for out of warranty, I was wondering if that might help me out. I have an AW 7 at 82% and the battery capacity bugs me a little. Thought about getting the battery replaced or just getting a new one but haven't been too motivated to part with my money. Do I need to get it covered by Apple Care to get the replacement watch? Thanks!
