70% protein by weight is kinda low for isolate (25g/36g serving). Do all those fillers mean it tastes good?

Also higher calorie - 140cal with 100 of those from protein, again high for isolate. But, sometimes those fillers make it taste better.

I also generally prefer sucralose to stevia - tastes better, although I realize that is an unpopular opinion around here.

This isn't an isolate for all intents and purposes, that saturated fat content defeats the purpose of getting an isolate, and it's mildly worrying that they don't list the cholesterol content even though that's a required part of the nutrition label.

I'm going to get one bag just to see if it has it on the actual basg when I get it in, as I'm curious.

I got the chocolate, it tastes pretty good. Slightly better than ON's chocolate, which already tastes much better than most protein powders imo.
Mixes slightly worse than ON, but I use an immersion blender so it's fine. I wanted to try this vs ON to see if it would give me less digestive trouble - seems to be the case!

I wish they've just offer plain powder more. I put this in a smoothie with a banana, berries, coconut milk etc.. and don't need flavour or sweeteners

Not entirely accurate. The most reason for an isolate is either the low lactose present or the low kcals. People spend extra for one or both of those things.

Question, what does lower of the things I list cause
..lower kcals, the first thing I listed lol, and first thing you listed.
the much lower cholesterol itself is also the primary reason dietitians suggest using it over whey concentrate.

28g protein per buck isn't bad for isolate. With thrifty spending rules I generally make all food purchases be at least 25g per dollar when I'm not eating beans an chicken. I've never had a bad isolate either. Even when buying it in a plain cardboard box in a clear plastic bag off ebay 😅

it started because isolate is quicker absorbing protein than whey , or casein which is slower than whey. So you drink isolate post workout and not before bed. I like it because it's more like Gatorade than a chunky shake and I've never had a bad tasting one.

That's not Apple's to apples. They also add 7grams of bcaas and mct oil. I haven't checked the other brands you listed.
