70% protein by weight is kinda low for isolate (25g/36g serving). Do all those fillers mean it tastes good?

Also higher calorie - 140cal with 100 of those from protein, again high for isolate. But, sometimes those fillers make it taste better.

I also generally prefer sucralose to stevia - tastes better, although I realize that is an unpopular opinion around here.

The higher calories are from the fat, and to your point this does have a very high amount of (Saturated) fat for Protein powder, especially for a Whey Protein Isolate. I am guessing the coconut is culprit🤔

This isn't an isolate for all intents and purposes, that saturated fat content defeats the purpose of getting an isolate, and it's mildly worrying that they don't list the cholesterol content even though that's a required part of the nutrition label.

I'm going to get one bag just to see if it has it on the actual basg when I get it in, as I'm curious.

How?

also, Amazon wants to collect sales tax on this in WA where food is not taxed. For the Nutricost deal they didn't collect sales tax. Very inconsistent.

Edit: it looks like it's because this protein lists supplement facts instead of nutritional facts, making it a supplement, while Nutricost is labeled as food. Weird.

Since it's an isolate, does that mean it's low in lactose?

Yeah, I think for the meantime, I'm gonna mix it 50/50 with my real isolate to make sure I'm not giving myself too much cholesterol,it's just weird, cause that's legally required to be on the label for anything that can possibly contain cholesterol.

Well cholesterol content does NOT really matter. People dont understand the biochemistry of humans ingesting cholesterol at all.

I think you don't... Cholesterol does matter for people who's liver doesn't do a good job of removing excess cholesterol, mine for instance, where I went from over 500 combined, mostly ldl, to 173 combined in 1 year by just cutting out most sources of higher dietary cholesterol and eating more veggies. The veggies I did first and they made little impact on their own.

Thanks though,I think I'll keep listening to my dietitian and Dr, considering it's their advice that actually helped lol.

Yes, but it will still have a very small amount of lactose if you are very lactose sensitive.
