Because this is only a battery. You need inverter and more parts to make it like an EcoFlow.

Everything runs through this [eco-worthy.com] inverter. It takes up to 500V of solar input and I have 13x410w panels that gets me right up to about 480 or 490V, so I'm at the limit for what I can hook up to this. Peak production I've seen was very briefly ~4.8KW with ~4.4KW being the highest sustained charge rate I have seen so far. The 4S2P battery setup has each bank running to a bus bar and then bus bar to the inverter. It's grid capable as well for those looking to hook into that, but I have no experience with that. I also ditched the included wifi module because it's limited to using a very crappy app that was a huge pain to get set up. Instead I have a Raspberry Pi hooked up via USB running Solar Assistant which was super easy to setup and allows me to monitor the system from anywhere.

Look at the size of the switch and display relative to the size of the battery. There's no way that's 100AH. I've got one that's almost exactly like that, but maybe 1/3 smaller in size. It's labelled capacity is 7AH. The dimensions in the listing are 4 x 4 x 6. Mine is 2.5 x 4 x 6. There's no current battery chemistry that has an energy density that high. They are counting on the fact that, since it's likely shipped from China, you're not going to put up the money to return it (especially since it's a battery and require special handling). They might offer you 50% of your money back, and they still win because that battery is worth about $25.

$713 original price lol - BS : it's been half that for the longest time

This does seem like a great piece now - I paid $270 over a year ago and this has been.a very good battery. I have it in my work van with a 2200 watt inverter and DC to DC charger

I bought 8 of these in multiple buys at different prices second half of 2025. This price is at or near the best I paid. So far I am very satisfied with them. They work with the Overkill Solar app to provide fine control/monitoring of BMS performance also.

So I just bought an ecoflow, to use as a furnace ups. This has more capacity at less price, how is this not a better choice for basic ups purposes?

Cheapest I got one for was $221 last Fall. This is still a good deal.

These new ones have different BMS and won't work with Overkill app.

Because this is only a battery. You need inverter and more parts to make it like an EcoFlow.

Seems like a a better one. You'll need a good inverter though. I've been using one for a couple of months to power my computer when rates are high.

That looks like it may be a scam. Batteries pictured there are way smaller like 15-20Ah size. Some reviews say the same and that they aren't even LifePo4 but really Li-ion.

24V vs 12v cuts the current that the cables and connections see in half. Cuts losses and heat due to any resistance in half. Generally a good move. It is what I do in my solar charged battery banks that backup my EcoFlow power stations. Before wiring in a bank, fully charge each individually.
